　　A senior officer of Coherent Corp. said that China's high-quality development direction and policies have opened up a huge space for the company's development, adding that the company will continue to enhance its overall strength in China.

　　Data released by China's Ministry of Commerce show that foreign direct investment in the Chinese mainland, in actual use, expanded 6.3 percent year on year to 1.23 trillion yuan (about 179 billion U.S. dollars) in 2022.
